La Scatulera fa parte della famiglia delle arpe ed è costruita utilizzando una scatola per gelati in polistirolo, degli elastici comuni ed il bordo di una cassetta per la frutta in legno.
La tecnica per suonarla è una fusione tra quella della sanza africana e quella della cora.
The Scatulera part of the family of harps and is constructed using a box for ice cream made of polystyrene, rubber bands and the common edge of a wooden fruit crates.
The technique for playing it is a fusion of African and without that of the chora.
