Gli oggetti più comuni della tecnologia diventano oggetti fashion. Arriva dal Portogallo un'idea assolutamente originale per riutilizzare in modo nuovo i pulsanti delle vecchie tastiere dei pc. Il designer portoghese Joao Sabino ha disegnato e realizzato una borsa che con ogni probabilità è destinata a rivoluzionare il mondo degli accessori moda. Innanzitutto per il suo spirito "ecologico", ovvero, la capacità di dare nuovo valore ad oggetti apparentemente inutili una volta che terminano la loro funzione sulle comuni tastiere. In secondo luogo, la capacità di personalizzazione cui la borse si presta.
Con Keybag, un nome che racchiude il concept del progetto, Joao Sabino ha ideato un accessorio prezioso: una borsa realizzata con 393 pulsanti provenienti da tastiere di computer applicati ad un "contenitore" realizzato con plastica e fibre di nylon. La borsa è stata interamente realizzata a mano e ogni pezzo è unico perché su ogni borsa i tasti sono stati disposti in modo diverso. La borsa può così essere facilmente personalizzabile con messaggi che possono essere richiesti su ordinazione. Keybag si propone come un accessorio femminile e glamour, ma anche un elogio al riciclo creativo del cosiddetto "rifiuto elettronico". Più grande di una pochette, meno della maxi-bag, Keybag è una borsa innovativa.
La Keybag è stata presentata in tutto il mondo alle principali esposizioni di moda, da Lisbona a Milano, passando per le passerelle di Parigi. E da oggetto fashion, è diventata oggetto d'arte.
