Opera interamente realizzata a mano con l'assemblaggio di materiali di scarto (bottiglione di vetro, RAEE, vecchi pennelli, bacchette di plastica per lo zucchero, ferro filato, cellophane usato e conchiglie-ricordo). Rappresentazione metaforica e romantica del mare come di un luogo capace di nascondere e custodire, anche per centinaia di anni, i tesori più incredibili.
In quest'opera, abat jour in oro, l'artista ha raccontato, fantasticando, l'incantesimo di un mago, il quale estrae dal classico cappello una rete piena di tanti piccoli oggetti, simboli del nostro tempo: un telecomando tv, dei cavi elettrici e telefonici, dei mouse, qualche presa scart, un videogame, un joystick, una macchina fotografica, etc. In pratica, salgono a galla, grazie ad un sortilegio, le scorie di un'epoca, peraltro altamente inquinanti - in quanto rifiuti elettronici (RAEE) - finite in mare a causa dell'inciviltà e dell'ignoranza di alcuni uomini, che per molti anni hanno scaricato in acqua molti dei loro rifiuti e non hanno capito che si trattava oggetti in grado di riprodurre un'enorme ricchezza, se adeguatamente differenziati e riciclati.
Opera vincitrice della sezione "Design" alla terza edizione del concorso "Rifiuti in cerca d'Autore".
Opera made entirely by hand with the assembly of waste materials (glass bottle, RAEE, old brushes, plastic rods for sugar, iron yarn, cellophane, and shells used in-memory). Metaphorical representation of the sea and romantic as a place able to hide and keep, even for hundreds of years, the most incredible treasures.
In this work, bedside lamp in gold, the artist said, fantasizing, the spell of a magician, who draws from the classic hat a network full of many small objects, symbols of our time: a remote control TV, cable electric and telephone, mice, some scart socket, a video game, a joystick, a camera, etc.. In practice, rising to the surface, thanks to a spell, the waste of time, however, highly polluting - as electronic waste (RAEE) - ended up in the sea because of anti-social and ignorance of some men, who for many many years have discharged their waste into the water and did not realize that it objects can play an enormous wealth, if properly differentiated and recycled.
