Giorgia Smith vive e lavora a New York, una Città che le offre quotidianamente spunti per la sua arte. In ogni angolo ritrova un pensiero, si accende un entusiasmo per qualcosa che dovrà realizzare. Ha studiato grafica pubblicitaria e si è occupata per anni di volontariato, di ambiente e di bambini, ma la sua passione rimane la creatività, soprattutto se legata alla creazione di oggetti di design e sculture realizzate con materiali che sembrano essere giunti alla fine della loro utilità e sopravvivenza. Ha viaggiato molto, fin da bambina, ed ha tratto ovunque idee per la sua passione. Non ha mai pensato di essere un'artista, ma si è sempre definita un' "artigiana creativa". Il suo laboratorio è uno spazio attiguo alla sua casa, una sorta di officina, molto poco femminile, dove nessuno può accedere: è il suo mondo segreto dove raccoglie "cose" inutili e vecchie, accumulandole da anni in un "caos creativo". Lavora e trasforma ogni tipo di materiale, realizzando oggetti di ogni genere, lampade, bambole, arredi per la casa e sculture.

He studied commercial art and has spent years of volunteering, the environment and children, but his passion is creativity, especially when linked to the creation of design objects and sculptures made of materials that seem to have reached the end of their usefulness and survival. He traveled a lot as a child, and drew his passion for ideas everywhere. He never thought of myself as an artist, but it is always called a '"creative artisan." His laboratory is a space adjacent to his house, a sort of workshop, little women, where no one can access: it is his secret world where collecting "things" old and useless, accumulating for years in a "creative chaos". Work and transforms any type of material, creating objects of all kinds, lamps, dolls, home furnishings and sculptures.
