Museo del Riciclo by Ecolight

Nato a Makow Podhalanski (Polonia) nel 1963, Riccardo Wilczek è un artista che, partendo dalla pittura, ha esteso la sua attività andando a coinvolgere tutta la natura. Il suo percorso artistico infatti inizia con la pittura, attraverso la quale esprime il proprio mondo interiore tramite un linguaggio in continua evoluzione. Rivolgendosi al lavoro di restauratore, scopre nel legno una materia primigenia ed arcaica dalle grandi potenzialità espressive. L'uso del legno, insieme ad altre materie naturali, permette all'artista di essere partecipe dell'energia che opera nell'universo e di inserirsi nel ciclo di rinnovamento continuo della materia. Niente viene perduto: foglie, sassi e legni restituiti dal mare acquistano nuova vita e nuove funzioni in una metamorfosi continua. L'energia e la vitalità con cui Wilczek lavora si infondono nei materiali usati, plasmandoli e facendo nascere opere uniche in cui le qualità artistiche e decorative si coniugano in perfetto equilibrio con quelle funzionali. I suoi lavori suscitano emozioni e stimoli trasformando i desideri in oggetti di arredo senza tempo che abitano con naturalezza contesti antichi o contemporanei. I suoi mobili, le sue cornici hanno la parvenza di forme naturali cresciute dalla terra, elementi organici al pari di un albero o di una pianta, cui però la raffinata cromia, sapientemente dosata, aggiunge alle forme vegetali brandelli di sogno e di memoria che si sovrappongono alle forme naturali quasi unica traccia dell'intervento dell'uomo. Una natura "sognata" prende così forma tra le sue mani; oggetti tangibili e sempre nuovi d'uso quotidiano traducono in realtà il misterioso legame uomo - natura, filo conduttore di tutta la sua produzione artistica.

Born in Makow Podhalanski (Poland) in 1963, Richard Wilczek is an artist who, starting from the painting, has extended its activities by going to involve the whole of nature. His artistic career began with painting it, through which he expresses his inner world through a language evolving. Turning to the work of the restorer, discovers a material in the wood primeval and archaic expressions with great potential. The use of wood, along with other natural materials, allows the artist to be a part of the energy that the universe operates and to fit in the cycle of continual renewal of the matter. Nothing is lost: leaves, stones and wood rescued from the sea take on a new life and new functions in a continuous metamorphosis. The energy and vitality with which it works Wilczek instill in materials, shaping and giving rise to unique works in which art and decorative qualities are combined in perfect balance with functional ones. His works arouse emotions and stimulate transforming desires into timeless pieces of furniture that naturally inhabit ancient or contemporary contexts. His furniture, his frames have the appearance of natural forms grew from the earth, organic elements like a tree or a plant, which, however, the refined chrome, expertly dosed, added to vegetable forms shreds of dream and memory that overlap with natural forms almost the only trace of human intervention. A nature "dreamed" it takes shape in his hands, and ever new, tangible objects of everyday use translate into reality the mysterious relationship man - nature, the theme of all his artistic production.
