Museo del Riciclo by Ecolight

Nato a Pantelleria nel 1959, Gaetano Muratore vive a Invorio (Novara), nella dimora laboratorio dove hanno preso forma i robot, meglio definiti "Androidi Sognanti", ibridazioni di Junk Tecnology, Trash, Ambient, Riciclarte, Robotica. Autodidatta, un lungo passato di pittura segnato da una continua crescita e ricerca, lo ha portato a ripercorrere gran parte del percorso dell'arte moderna.
Nel 1987, creando "La Macchina Del Tempo", la sua vita ha preso una svolta. Concepita come un flipper dal quale emergono, salvati da un annegamento nel cemento armato, giocattoli rotti e oggetti pregni di memorie, la "Macchina" apre la scatola dell'infanzia. Ne fuoriescono frammenti inutili-utili del passato, animati da decine di meccanismi in un ingegnoso affresco elettrico-interattivo. Di qui la storia di Gaetano Muratore, per molti anni divisa tra il lavoro - sempre in viaggio per la Wagon Lits come conduttore - e la carriera di pittore, prende a identificarsi sempre più con quella dei suoi sempre più numerosi robot che vengono assemblati con materiali di scarto e tecnologia di consumo che Gaetano "contende" al rottamatore. Come un moderno alchimista, l'artista recupera l'oggetto e la sua memoria attraverso modus operandi funzionali, mescendo la propria individualità e il proprio carattere alle loro caratteristiche in ogni opera.
Dal 1998 Gaetano Muratore esercita da libero professionista. Le esperienze acquisite con diverse tipologie di lavorazioni e materiali lo hanno portato ad estendere la sua arte e il suo stile in più settori, dal complemento d'arredo ad opere strutturali, come scale, cancelli, camini, interventi architettonici e di design in discoteche e locali pubblici, installazioni e custom.

Realizza inoltre, in collaborazione con studio Canali, installazioni per:
- Progetto"Mobile Kids", Daimler Chrysler Italia;
- Regione Lombardia, "Ortocircuito" museo della Scienza Milano;
- Provincia di Milano "Techne" spazio Oberdan Milano;
Tra gli eventi mediatici ricordiamo, tra gli altri, Progetto Italia "Robot i noti ignoti" Telecom Futur Centre Venezia.

Born in 1959 in Pantelleria, Gaetano Muratore lives in Invorio (Novara), in the home laboratory where robots have taken shape, better known as "Androids Dreaming", hybrids of Technology Junk, Trash, Ambient, Riciclarte, Robotics. Self-taught, a long history of painting marked by a continuous growth and research led him to retrace most of the route of modern art.
In 1987, creating "The Time Machine", his life took a turn. Conceived as a pinball machine from which they emerge, saved from drowning in the concrete, broken toys and objects imbued with memories, the "Machine" opens the box of childhood. This escape useful-useless fragments of the past, inspired by dozens of ingenious mechanisms in a fresco of electric-interactive. Hence the history of Gaetano Mason, for many years divided between the job - always on the go for the Wagon Lits as a conductor - and his career as a painter, he began to identify increasingly with that of its growing number of materials which are assembled by robots waste and consumer technology that Gaetano "contends" to the scrap. Like a modern alchemist, the artist retrieves the object and its memory through functional modus operandi, pouring their own character and individuality to their characteristics in each work.

Since 1998, Mason Gaetano exercises as a freelancer. Experiences with different types of processes and materials have led him to extend his art and his style in many sectors, from furniture to complement structural works, such as staircases, gates, fireplaces, architectural and design work in clubs and public places, and custom installations.

It also produces, in collaboration with Studio Canal, facilities for:
- Project "Mobile Kids," Daimler Chrysler Italy;
- Lombardy Region, "Ortocircuito" Science Museum of Milan;
- Province of Milan "Techne" space Oberdan Milan;
Among the media events include, among others, Italy Project "Robots the known unknown" Telecom Future Centre Venice.
