Capone nasce artisticamente nei primi anni '80 nei 666, storica band della Vesuwave napoletana. Da subito crea strumenti con materiali riciclati (la Scialacqua, realizzata con una vecchia canna da pesca e il Chàchà, con coperchi di latta). Nel '93 pubblica il suo primo album da solista Capone (BMG/Old Bridge music), a cui seguono La foresta (Sciarap/Flying 1995), Sciarap 002 (Sciarap/CNI 1997) e Murmurii (Sciarap/CNI 1999) che gli valgono la definizione di "profeta del drum 'n' bass" (Rockstar).
Nel '99 prende vita il progetto "Capone & BungtBangt", un concerto con un fortissimo impatto scenico incentrato su strumenti nati da materiali riciclati o con oggetti d'uso comune. Il debutto avviene il 31 marzo 2000. Il set è composto da bidoni della spazzatura, lattine, vecchie pentole, secchi di metallo di varie grandezze, tubi di plastica e di metallo, utensili da lavoro, bombole del gas, bottiglie, lamine di metallo. Capone & BungtBangt realizzano Junk! (ChiaraSunMusic/RAI Trade 2002) e lavorano per ampliare le possibilità armoniche degli strumenti creati, in vista di una forma canzone che non rinunci alle caratteristiche "performanti" e tribali del gruppo. Nel maggio 2003 avviene un ricambio quasi totale dell'orchestra e nasce una strepitosa versione di Caravan petrol di Carosone. I brani "Bungt & Bangt" e "Uaiò" vengono utilizzati come sigla del programmi radiofonici su Radio Rai1 e Radio Rai2.
Intanto Capone & BungtBangt macinano concerti e tournée, vincono premi (Premio Troisi, Premio Focus) e condividono il palco con artisti prestigiosi. Partecipano a moltissimi festival e trasmissioni televisive (Costanzo Show, Buona Domenica, Alle Falde del Kilimangiaro, Screensaver, Non facciamoci prendere dal panico, Quelli che il calcio, Libero). Suonano dal vivo in programmi radiofonici trasmessi da Radio Rai 1, 2 e 3, RTL, Radio Popolare...Nel 2005 sono in tour in Giappone, guest Irene Grandi.
Nel 2006 esce l'album "Lisca di pesce" (Camion Records/ChiaraSunMusic distr. Sony Italia) seguito a breve distanza dal singolo '"SU DI NOI...C'ERA UNA VOLTA" (diventato in un lampo tormentone rap in Svizzera, Canada e Usa) divertente versione del celebre brano di Pupo "Su di noi". Rientrati dal tour promozionale che li ha portati fino in giappone, conclusoci a Napoli ospiti dei Negramaro al Palapartenope, il 2006 vede i CaponeBungtBangt "aggirarsi" sempre più spesso, oltre che sui palcoscenici, in vari studi radiotelevisivi: guest più volte di "VivaRadio2" programma cult condotto da Fiorello e Marco Baldini, di Radio DEEJAY "Chiamate triuno triuno" condotta dal Trio Medusa e di Radio Rai1, si trasformano poi da attori/musicisti nell'episodio italiano 'Ciro' di Stefano Veneruso nel film "All The Invisible Children" di cui Capone scrive le musiche (film presentato da Maria Grazia Cucinotta, alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia 2006); aprono il concerto di fine campagna elettorale di Romano Prodi a piazza del Popolo a Roma; al Festival Pigro di Urbino rendono omaggio a un grande della musica italiana, Ivan Graziani, con una particolare versione di "Hora et labora" e "Pigro"; vengono invitati a fare i masti di festa (o meglio 'veterani') al Giffoni Music Concept dove ospitano Meg.
Ospiti anche di Gianni Morandi nel programma "Non facciamoci prendere dal panico" in diretta su Rai1, poi del MEI e in collegamento con "Quelli che il calcio", infine di Alessandro Siani a "Libero" in onda su RAI 2.
Nel 2007 salgono sul palco di Sanremo ospiti del cantautore romano Daniele Silvestri, in gara con il brano 'La paranza', la cui 'versione BungtBangt' risulta la più scaricata del festival su Youtube.
Il 16 maggio 2008 il nuovo album "DURA LEX", un disco sanguigno nato con l'intento di toccare tematiche profonde e di forte connotazione sociale, facendo leva sull' impatto emotivo che tali temi possono avere sul pubblico. L'intento di Capone (coordinatore anche della produzione artistica) è quello di esprimere una visione trasversale della sua musica, con lo scopo di unire contenuti forti e semplicità, in un mix di stili che passano dalla techno fino al pop, passando per il funky, il reggae, al rock. Con il brano 'Bello', track n.5 dell'album, i CaponeBungtBangt conquistano il primo posto delle classifiche Indie Music Like mantenendo la posizione per ben due mesi nell'estate 2008. In concomitanza con l'uscita del disco, parte il DURALEXtour, con cui la band tocca più di trenta città italiane ed estere, conclusosi lo scorso 31 dicembre a Napoli in Piazza Plebiscito.
Il 2009 si apre con un evento di grande potenza mediatica e di messaggio. Capone diventa una star del web grazie a www.comesuonailcaos.it un sito interamente dedicato all'arte di costruire strumenti riciclati. L'obbiettivo è sempre lo stesso, dimostrare che la musica e dentro di noi e la si può fare con poco, ma questa volta attraverso video tutorial, che svelano i segreti di CaponeBungtBangt. In otto mesi di attività scanditi in 26 lezioni, Capone ha invitato gli utenti ad inviare a loro volta video con strumenti costruiti da loro stessi. Tutto questo per giungere ad un grande evento/concerto dove i realizzatori dei migliori strumenti sarebbero stati invitati a partecipare. Ed infatti il 24 luglio all'Arenile Reload di Bagnoli (NA) si è concretizzato questo progetto. Una giornata intera dedicata alla filosofia di CaponeBungtBangt. La mattina ,pulizia della spiaggia di Bagnoli come contributo simbolico e pratico pèr la tutela dell'ambiente in collaborazione con Legambiente, associazioni territoriali e comuni cittadini. Il pomeriggio, il workshop di Capone e la sera il grande concerto con CaponeBungtBangt ospite d'onore Max Romeo dalla Jamaica. La partecipazione è stata enorme, più di seimila persone! Anche Tg1, Tg3, Uno Mattina ed altre testate regionali hanno voluto partecipare e documentare l'evento che ha unito arte, ambiente e sensibilità sociale. Ma i risultati di comesuonailcaos.it non si fermano qui. Il sito, pensato nel nuovissimo linguaggio web2.0 quindi con grande capacità di interazione, con più di due milioni di visite diventa un caso attirando l'attenzione di molte testate nazionali come Repubblica, Corriere della Sera ecc. e Tv (Rai1, 2 e 3, Mediaset e LA7) che gli dedicano larghi spazi. Capone infatti viene invitato a partecipare come ospite fisso nella trasmissione di Mario Tozzi e Trio Medusa "La Gaia Scienza" su LA7. Comesuonailcaos.it vince diversi premi come miglior sito socio/educativo (TP Comunicare la Sostenibilità, PWI Italian Web Award, Interactive Key Award). e come ulteriore risultato..
Contemporaneamente Capone cura la divulgazione della sua ricerca attraverso seminari e laboratori, tra cui un laboratorio-orchestra permanente, istituito nel 2001 dal comune di Pomigliano d'Arco, con bambini della scuola elementare. Anche a Cuba crea un laboratorio nella Escuela de arte, simile a quello di Pomigliano D'Arco e fonda il gruppo musicale BungtBangt con musicisti cubani, con l'obiettivo di unire le due formazioni omonime in concerti da tenersi tra Italia e Cuba. Seminari e workshop sono eventi ricorrenti e la divulgazione passa in maniera trasversale attraverso Conservatori, Università, Istituti Scolastici di scuole elementari, medie e licei, iniziative a sfondo ambientale organizzate da Istituzioni o da organizzazioni private.
Con più di 500 concerti all'attivo, CaponeBungtBangt sono amati un po' da tutti. Dal pubblico innanzitutto che ha sempre risposto entusiasticamente ai loro concerti, dalla critica specializzata ma anche dai big della musica italiana e internazionale, che spesso hanno voluto "giocare" in scena con questi stravaganti musicisti. Scelti come supporter 'live' di Jamiroquai poi dei Planet Funk, di Vinicio Capossela, hanno collaborato con Edoardo Bennato nel brano "C'era una volta" in cui Capone 'duetta' con il cantautore partenopeo nella tracklist n. 16 de "La fantastica storia del pifferaio magico".

Capone was artistically born in 666 in the early '80s, the band Vesuwave historic Naples. Immediately creates instruments with recycled materials (the squanders, made with an old fishing rod and the Chaco, with tin lids). In '99 the project comes to life "BungtBangt & Capone," a concert with a strong visual impact focused on tools born from recycled materials or objects of everyday use. They made their debut March 31, 2000. The set consists of trash cans, tin cans, old pots, metal buckets of various sizes, plastic pipes and metal working tools, gas cylinders, bottles, metal foils. Capone & BungtBangt realize Junk! (ChiaraSunMusic / RAI Trade 2002) and work to expand the harmonic possibilities of the instruments, in view of a song form that does not give up the characteristic "performance" and the tribal group. In May 2003, is an almost total replacement of the orchestra and created a great version of Caravan petrol Carosone. The songs "Bungt & Bangt" and "Uaiò" are used as the theme of radio programs on Radio RAI 1 and RAI 2 Radio.
Meanwhile, Capone & BungtBangt grind concerts and tours, win prizes (Troisi Prize, Prize Focus) and share the stage with many renowned artists. They participate in many festivals and television (Costanzo Show, Good Friday, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Screensavers, let's not panic, Those that football, Free). They play live radio broadcast by Radio Rai 1, 2 and 3, RTL, Radio People ... In 2005 on tour in Japan, guest Irene.

The intent of Capone (also of artistic production coordinator) is to express a transversal vision of his music, with the aim of combining high content and simplicity, in a mix of styles that go from techno to pop up, through the funky , reggae, rock. With the song 'Beautiful', the album track No. 5, the CaponeBungtBangt conquer the top of the charts Like Indie Music holding this position for two months in summer 2008. Coinciding with the release of the album, apart from the DURALEXtour, with which the band touches more than thirty Italian and foreign cities, which ended last December 31 in Naples in Piazza Plebiscite.
The year 2009 opens with an event of great power and media message. Capone became a star thanks to the web www.comesuonailcaos.it a site entirely devoted to building tools for recycling. The goal is always the same, and prove that the music inside of us and you can do with little, but this time through video tutorials that reveal the secrets of CaponeBungtBangt. In eight months of activity on scan in 26 lessons, Capone has invited users to send videos themselves with instruments built by themselves. All this to come to a big event / concert where the makers of the best tools would be invited to participate. In fact on July 24 all'Arenile Reload Bagnoli (NA) has led to this project. A full day dedicated to the philosophy of CaponeBungtBangt. Capone simultaneously by the disclosure of his research through seminars and workshops, including a laboratory-permanent orchestra, founded in 2001 by the town of Pomigliano d'Arco, with elementary school children.
