Il titolo è significativo, "Around the world " ovvero un giro intorno al mondo. Le forme circolari rappresentate dal cerchione e dal copertone sono in continua evoluzione e trasformazione, esse suggeriscono e sollecitano la trasformazione degli oggetti, il riuso, il circolo continuo delle "cose" che, con fantasia e creatività ridonano luce e bellezza al mondo. Le scarpe simboleggiano il cammino da percorrere lungo questo viaggio di metamorfosi. L'opera rappresenta un porta- tutto dalle innumerevoli sfaccettature, un appendi abiti per l'ingresso o per la camera, un porta salviette per il bagno, un porta mestoli in cucina, un porta cd per l'ufficio, un oggetto ri-pensato per essere polifunzionale.
The title is significant, "Around the world" or a trip around the world. The circular shapes represent the rim and the tire is constantly evolving and changing, they suggest, and urge the transformation of objects, reuse, continuous loop of "things" that, with imagination and creativity bring back light and beauty to the world. The shoes symbolize the path to travel along this journey of transformation. The work represents a port-round by many facets, a hanger for entry or for the room, a towel for the bathroom, a door in the kitchen ladles, a CD rack for the office, an object re-thought to be multifunctional.
